Parador de Fuente Dé Camaleño  

The Parador de Fuente Dé Hotel is a 3 star hotel in the Picos de Europa mountain range, ideally located in the mountain village of Fuente Dé. The hotel is located right next to the cable car which takes visitors up to the Áliva mountain refuge, where you can take in an awe-inspiring panorama of the Liébana Valley below, as well as the forests and snow-capped mountains all around. This Fuente Dé hotel is a new build, although it has been constructed with traditional building materials, such as wood and stone. A comfortable base for hikers to set off from while walking in the Picos de Europa National Park, the Parador de Fuente Dé Hotel is a mountain lovers paradise. To provide plenty of fuel for the day ahead, the hotel has a top-notch restaurant serving traditional Cantabrian cuisine, such as sirloin steak in Tresviso cheese sauce. There is also a play area for children at the hotel and 4 conference suites. Guests can also ask to use the hotel's Internet Point. Please note that the hotel is closed from December 21, 2008 to February 7, 2009.
