In general I can recommend the Hotel Europa in Girona, because it is close to the train and busstation and not very far to the City Center - and I havbe seen the rooms for couples, which are good as well. I stayed there twice (27.-29.5. and 2./3.6.) and the first room was really bad: very small and a small window "inside" th house. The scond one was better.
