 "Excellent location, wonderful apartment, didn't expect it to be that..."
Pros: Excellent location, wonderful apartment, didn't expect it to be that amazing for that price. beautiful garden, lovely architecture, nice kitchen, all necessary dishes even all toiletries. the best deal i've had so far.

 "Unique hotel/appartments adjacent to city walls, very quiet but 5 minutes..."
Pros: Unique hotel/appartments adjacent to city walls, very quiet but 5 minutes walk via steps to main bars and restraunts. owner very friendly and spoke excellent english.
Cons: Transfer from train station to hotel is not feasible on foot with suitcases.... 15 euros there and 10 euros back to the train station. shower was cracked and leaked on the floor and wasn't particularly clean, the rest of the rooms were ok.

Pros: We stayed in apartment 1 which was very nice and roomy. before you arrive they email you a code which unlocks a mailbox that has your keys, so no lines and no check-in, just grab the keys and go.

Pros: The rooms were lovely and we had everything we needed. very quiet location in the old part of girona. would go there again.
Cons: A bit difficult to find initially. a bottle of water would have been helpful (to make some coffee)
