In the province of Aragón is the region of Huesca. On the top of Mount Aragón are the ruins of a monastery. In the village of Aguera, you can visit the Romanesque Church of Santiago or admire the tiled roofs. Stop and stare at the rosy stone of the crumbling cliffs of Los Malles or wander the walls and towers of Castillo de Loaire. You can also pay a visit to the city of Huesca, the capital of Upper Aragón. In Huesca, tourism focuses on the beauties of the 13th century façade of the Cathedral. Its Gothic structure has carved overhangs. Within is a museum. Popular Huesca attractions are also ecclesiastical in nature. There is the Church of San Pedro. It has an 11th century monastery cloisters and a Romanesque Chapel. Other Huesca sights include the Town Hall with its 19th century painting of the beheading of rebel nobles.
