Fraga is a town of 13,237 in Aragon, in the north of Spain. Dating from the Bronze Age, this tempting city on the banks of the Cinca River cost the Aragonese King Alfonso I his life in 1134, when he tried to take it over from the Moors. Count Ramon Berenguer IV of Barcelona eventually succeeded winning Fraga 15 years later, in 1149. To this day, a special dialect of Catalan is sometimes spoken here called "El fragatino." A particularly haunting painting by Velásquez's, a portrait of his aging patron King Philip IV, depicts the king arriving here.

One major Fraga attraction is the Salvatore Sabate Museum, which since 2000 has been a major a venue for the public to see the works of this significant Catalan artist. Another attraction is the San Pedro Parochial Church, which used to be a mosque during Moorish times. The ruined Castle of San Miguel is also a draw for tourists in Fraga. Hotels in Fraga can be found through the Internet. Sites like EasyToBook.com make booking Fraga hotels economical and fast, as they allow users to find discount hotels in Fraga and other Fraga cheap hotels.
