Sabiote Hotels and Accommodation
The village of Sabiote is situated in the geographic center of southern Spain’s Jaén province, in the Ubeda and Baeza region known for its vast olive groves and cereal fields. Sabiote is considered just one of the towns included in Spain’s “Renaissance Triangle of Andalusia”. The town boasts ancient origins and a 16th century castle which now serves as a Sabiote hotel, the Palacio las Manillas. Visitors to the area who do not book rooms there can still enjoy an excellent meal with regional cuisine and wine.
There is a walled enclosure surrounding the town, which is considered a historical and artistic complex. Inside this walled compound is the old neighborhood of El Albaicín, with its crooked, narrow streets resembling a maze. Outside the walls are the Church of Santa Maria and the Carmelitas Descalzas Convent in the Gothic style. Most of the hotels in Sabiote offered by EasyToBook.com are located near the Pasaje de los Torreones. This is an excellent place to do a walking tour with forays off the main road to the Granada and Santa María Gates which lead to the Castle. The palace of Los Moreno de Villena and the hermitage of San Ginés de la Jara are also excellent places to stop.
