Great hotel, great zone with Sub station at 50 metters. The rooms, the service, the clean of the whole hotel... All was great. Next time I´m going to Madrid, I´ll stay at Abba Madrid Hotel for sure...

The hotel is located close to both the Aveinda de America (5 min walk)and Carteega (2 min walk) metro stations for travellers arriving by plane and want to get there from the Airport (4.7Euro each as opposed to the 25 Euro taxi fare). The staff are very helpful and do speak english. We had a twin room which I would describe as satisfactory. For me the beds were a bit hard to sleep on, there is a fridge in the room filled with drinks and snacks that you will need to pay for if you use, and not particularly cheap if you do. ( small orange juice is 3.10 Euro ). The bathroom is clean and had a good supply of hot water. The tv was an old CRT screen with only local channe;ls available ( no satellite channels ).Access to rooms is by a credit card style system, and when entering there is a slot near the door to slide it into to activate the lighting, leave it in there to have the lights on.Overall a pleasant stay for the two nights I was in Madrid, a good base to use the metro, esp. Ave de America station as it has access to four of the metro lines. I would use it again. It is in my opinion rated 3.5 out of five overall and is recommended for a short city stay.
