If you like looking at tall towers, then it would be a good idea to book your cheap hotel in Madrid next to the Picasso Tower. The building is a huge skyscraper, and when it was built in 1988 was the tallest building in Madrid. In fact, it was the tallest building in Spain until 2001, when a taller hotel was built in Benidorm. In 2007 a taller building was erected in Madrid.

The building has 43 floors and stands at 515 feet tall. Most of the floors in the building are used for offices but there is a heliport, a machinery floor, an entry point floor and basements. It has a wide entrance arch which is architecturally interesting, as well as having some of the most technologically advanced elevators.
