Hospital La Paz Madrid

Although the Hospital La Paz was first opened as a single facility in 1964, it has since expanded to include 17 additional buildings, and incorporates four major hospitals. These four hospitals, including a Childrens’, Maternity, General and Traumatology and Rehabilitation Hospital. It also has inpatient facilities for 1328 individuals and employs over 7000 staff members. This does not include the ongoing teaching and research activity and staff. Patients to the Hospital La Paz are typically referred by other hospitals in the country for specialized treatment, however international hospitals also make referrals to this state of the art medical facility.
