"super great price performance ratio! great location, great hotel!"
For this super low price package, it was a great hotel and a clean, nice, modern room. White Linen - top! Every day there were fresh towels every day and has been cleaned. For a city trip, it has the perfect location, right next to metro station Plaza de Sol.We were very happy and satisfied with the hotel / hostel! :-)

"Good value for money"
The Hostal's is super central, just a minute from Plaza del Sol. The only problem with its location is that this square happens to be full of people at all hours, with both locals and foreigners singing and speaking loudly till 5-6am, thus making it difficult for the guests to sleep. The room itself was small but comfortable, it had a good bathroom, free wi-fi and a flat screen TV. I would have loved to have a proper desk, as the shelf/desk solution didn't look capable of holding the weight of my laptop.Staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness wise, it was a pity that the bathroom wasn't always thoroughly cleaned (they just had a quick daily sweep, never replaced my glass, and sometime the towels were not changed, only folded etc.). I stayed here for 13 night and I think that my sheets were changed only once.Overall, I would say it was good value for money.

"The location was excellent, just around the corner from puerta de sol"
Pros: The location was excellent, just around the corner from puerta de sol. right around the hostel was a bunch of bars, which was great for us. we never had to go far for some good beer and tapas. the included breakfast in our stay was a short walk away from the hostel at a local restaurant. it included toast, coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice, which was plenty for a couple of jetlagged girls at 3:00am home-time. the price was great considering all of these factors as well.
Cons: The room was small, but that wasn't a problem for us as we really only slept there. after all, you don't go to spain to stay in your hotel room all day.

"For the price that we paid to stay in madrid the room was very comfortable"
Pros: For the price that we paid to stay in madrid the room was very comfortable.
Cons: The sign for the hostel was impossible to see while driving on the one-way road. also on the site it mentioned there was parking. in fact there was absolutely no parking. we had to drive around for an hour searching for the hotel only to find out that we couldn't park there. if you could make the sign visible it might be easier to find!

very best location.100 mt from puerta del sol train station-city center.

"The hostel is very central, close to plaza del sol"
Pros: The hostel is very central, close to plaza del sol. it is close to a metro station and within walking distance of the old town, the market, el corte ingles, and lots of eateries.
Cons: Our room was quite noisy, even during the night. it is possible that other rooms not on the front of the hostel are quieter.

Pros: Pleasant and informative staff at reception. bathroom and bedroom very clean.
