"What a place near Gran Via"
It's a great place to stay, Single room very neat and clean and at a reasonable price. Its very close to gran and walk-able from Sol Metro / renfe station. One can reach Atocha station in 15 mins, its just one stop from Sol and it takes 7/ 8 mins to reach Sol from this place. I would highly recommend this hostel.

"Great budget hotel in central Madrid"
This is a great little hotel in a terrific location - a quiet street near the metro and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. Many of the areas of interest to a visitor are close enough to walk to.My room was large, (though I understand many are small) and comfortable, if basic. The bright and contrasting towels were changed daily - a splash of colour in the otherwise neutral decor.Javier was very welcoming and helpful and has a wealth of maps, flyers and local information to offer guests. (Note, however, reception is not always manned and you need to ensure you have the telephone number to get someone to let you in when you arrive.)There is no food provided, but there are lots of places to eat in the neighbourhood. There are, though free coffee and a selection of teas in the guest lounge, which is a nice touch. All in all, a very good base from which to visit Madrid.

 "Very good value for money"
Pros: Very good value for money. clean, spacious rooms. great location.
Cons: The rooms to the back don't have some kind of construction blocking the window. the walls are rather thin, noise tends to propagate (not that it was noisy).
