Hostal Pizarro Madrid is housed in a beautiful Art-Nouveau building, located in Central Madrid and situated between the Malasaña and Chueca districts. Chueca is famous for its nightlife and offers visitors a myriad of shops, tapas bars and clubs to suit the taste of any traveller. Many of Madrid’s main attractions, such as the Puerta del Sol or the Reina Sofia Museum, are also within walking distance of this wonderful hostel.
Pizarro Hostal is a two-star hostel located in a building that used to be the headquarters of Spanish newspaper El Correo. Its façade is the work of architect Mauricio Jalvo Millán and is set for renewal in the coming months. One of the most notable architectural elements of the property is the column that supports and divides the balcony, shaped as a winding branch climbing to the upper floors.
In addition to being centrally located, Hostal Pizarro Madrid offers its guests clean and funky rooms and the use of two lounges. These common areas are equipped with wireless Internet access and satellite TV. In addition, the hostel has 17 rooms (10 doubles, 4 triples and 3 singles), featuring functional and modern décor. All the rooms are equipped with the necessary modern facilities, including air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a minibar and a safe for your valuables. All the rooms feature private bathrooms.

Cons: The rooms to the back don't have some kind of construction blocking the window. the walls are rather thin, noise tends to propagate (not that it was noisy).
