The Gay Hostal Pizarro Madrid is a two-star hotel located in a building that used to be the headquarters of Spanish newspaper El Correo. Its façade is the work of architect Mauricio Jalvo Millán and is set for renewal in the coming months. One of the most notable architectural elements of the hotel is the column that supports and divides the balcony, shaped as a winding branch climbing to the upper floors.
In addition to being centrally located, the Gay Hostal Pizarro offers its guests clean and funky rooms and the use of two lounges. These common areas are equipped with wireless internet access and satellite TV. In addition, the hotel has 17 rooms (10 doubles, 4 triples and 3 singles), featuring functional and modern décor. How you can get to Gay Hostal Pizarro
From Madrid Barajas Airport: Take metro line 8, towards 'Nuevos Ministerios', and get off at the end of the line. Change to metro line 6 (circular), towards 'Cuatro Caminos' and get off there (only one stop). Change to metro line 2, towards 'La Elipa', and get off at 'Noviciado'. The hotel is a three-minute walk from this metro station.

Cons: The rooms to the back don't have some kind of construction blocking the window. the walls are rather thin, noise tends to propagate (not that it was noisy).
