This location is close to Reina Sofía Museum and also allows you straightforward access to Madrid Planetarium. Gate of Toledo is one of many landmarks in the area. The accommodation is in a great position for a trip to Buen Retiro Park. Many people choose to stay here as it is near Vicente Calderón Stadium.

Pros: Lovely hotel, very clean. reception staff were very helpful, provding us with a map of madrid and pointed out the locations we were looking for and the correct bus and metro routes to take. there is a supermarket across the road and the bars and restaurant on the same street were far cheaper than the centre of the city.

Pros: The rooms were a good size. the beds are very comfortable. hotel staff are very friendly. good for bus groups who have transport arranged.
Cons: The hotel is a little far out of the city centre which will cost 10 euros in a cab to get to. there is a bus but it is difficult to work out as the staff do not speak a lot of english to direct. there could be maps provided so you know where you are as the hotel is outside of the tourist maps. only local restuarants nearby with menu's in spanish.
