When entering the Atocha Railway Station, you will probably marvel at its size. The structure is the largest railway station in Madrid. Both commuter and high speed trains offer service from this facility. The station was originally built in 1851, and unfortunately was almost totally destroyed by fire. Atocha Railway Station was rebuilt and then was again open for business in 1892.
