Thyssen Bornemisza Museum has a fantastic collection of art, housing both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The permanent exhibition is thought to be one of the largest private collections in the world, possibly only rivaled by the art collection belonging to the British Royal family.
There are 700 paintings in the collection, including many masterpieces by famous artists such as Rembrandt, Memling and Goya. It includes European and American works from the second half of the 20th Century, including Impressionists’ and Expressionists’ works. If you are an art fan, this is definitely a place to visit while you are in Spain.
