Spreading out over 20 hectares (49 acres), at Madrid Zoo and Aquarium there are lots of opportunities to see all kinds of wildlife and marine life from all over the world.
It is a must to spend some time viewing the coral exhibit, as well as to take in a show at the dolphinarium. There are also shows that feature parrots and exotic bird species and birds of prey. If you just want to stroll through the zoo you will see over 200 different species of wild animals from all over the world, plus there is a small farm on location.This farm, known as La Granja, is set up like a petting zoo, but also gives demonstrations of how farm animals are used.
