This hotel is just seconds off of calle larios, a major shopping/dining pedestrian area, and plaza de la constitucion, where there was a lot of entertainment, both scheduled and informal. location is terrific, though a bit away from the beaches. checkin experience with friendly staff was great. room for 3 (1 adult, 2 teens) great. you dont interact with staff much -- their presence is very much in the background, but if you need them, they're there. 
Hotel needs to put better directions on its website -- it's kind of tucked away on a side street -- and currently surrounded by construction.
