This resort is very spacious, it is very clean and has beautiful gardens. upon check in we were each given 2 tokens to use for the don carlos beach club which is priced at 45euros for 3 days, so this was an added bonus. the hotel is located right on nikki beach so you have the best of both worlds. the resort is 10 min taxi ride to marbella town (excellent for shopping and restuarants) and puerto banus is around a 20 min taxi ride (more for bars and clubs) all round i would stay at don carlos again, the staff were friendly and imformative and the rooms were very clean and modern.
This is a five star resort so expect to pay 5 star prices. marbella as a whole is quite an expensive place but to buy a club sandwich and chips by the pool at don carlos you are looking at eur18.00! i suggest to venture out to orange square in marbella old town were there is an abundance of spanish restuarants and tavernas!!!
