Almorox is a small town in the province of Toledo, in central Spain. It lies 99km south west of Madrid, the capital city of Spain. The town had just 2371 inhabitants in the 2006 census. Almorox is 1749 feet (533m) above sea level, high in the central mountainous area for which the province of Toledo is known. The historic town of Almorox is ideally situated for touring, as it is on the A5-E90 route. The nearest airport (Barajas) is just 75km away.
