One side of the hotel is undergoing maintenance and was like a building site. one of the rooms i was given had a bucket full of builders gloves and tools and was covered in dust. the following morning i was awoken by a builder outside on my balcony drilling something into the external walls. was very surprised the reception staff allocated me this room. Hotel medium valencia is a very modern hotel from the inside, not much to look at from the outside but the quality of the rooms is what counts in a hotel. hotel staff were great, very friendly and very patient with our poor grasp of spainish. reception and bar areas are very contempory and give the feel of a very expensive hotel. rooms were great, very comtempory decor, bathroom was imaculate. very good all round experience.Being ultra fussy, the hotel has a very dark feel to it, everything being either dark slate or dark brown in colour (still looks nice though). air con took an evening and the first night to cool the room to the desired temp, biggest down point of the room.
