The location of the hotel is excellent for access to 'old' Valencia, the marina and beach are all within reasonable walking distance. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, overall a very enjoyable stay, we'd recommend it.

Pros: Modern rooms with quality fixtures and plenty of rooms for bags, etc. the staff was all very helpful, and renting bikes for the day was only 10 (eur), and they made that process very easy as well. very convenient location to the arts & sciences complex, and a 15-minute ride to the beach or carmen barrio (the historic center of town). i would stay here again.

Nearby will find a variety of landmarks, like the Palau de la Musica, Gulliver Park and Mestalla Stadium. Colon Market, the ultra-modern Queen Sophia Palace of the Arts and the Cathedral of Valencia are all easily reached on foot. Furthermore, the near vicinity of the hotel boasts a large selection of restaurants and bars. Several bus stops and multiple metro stops are also easily accessed.

Valencia Hotel Silken Puerta has a tastefully designed restaurant with a minimalist style. Creative, freshly prepared dishes are served here.
