If you enjoy visiting historic buildings then you should try Lonja de la Seda in Valencia. This is a civil building that has been built in a late Gothic style, and will be a fascinating morning or day trip if you want to find out a bit more about the city and its history. The building is incredibly old, dating back to 1482 when its construction began. It was not finished until 1548, but it is now one of the most interesting buildings in the city. It is so important that in 1996 the UN declared it a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it is of huge historic significance to the city of Valencia.
