Tiedra Hotels and Accommodation
The tiny town of Tiedra had just 394 residents in the 2004 census. This little village is found in the Valladoid province of the Castile and Leon region, and has an unusual amount of interesting structures for such a small town. You could certainly have enough to see in Tiedra that you’d want to find an EasyToBook.com budget hotel to stay a night or two in order to truly enjoy the village.
At one end of the town is the dominant Castle Tiedra. Built at the end of the 13th century, there may have actually been an earlier castle or fortress that the current structure was built upon. Built more for function than appearance, the castle has a simple, square tower with a fortified wall surrounding it. The Plaza Mayor (Main Plaza) has a portico that dates from the 16th to 18th centuries. The City Hall building is there as well. The 16th century Church of Our Savoir, a Gothic structure, is also worth a visit.
