Pros: Excellent location, adjacent to guggenheim and on the north side of the city centre closest to the exit to the airport.
Cons: Way to expensive breakfast buffet. i went to a competing hotel just down the street and got the same basic english breakfast for only 8 euros, compared to 22 euros.

Buenavistas Terrace - This light-filled room on the top floor has a glass roof, outdoor seating, and views of the Guggenheim. Buffet breakfast.
Café Metropol - An homage to the Bauhaus era, this café is decorated in black and white, with marble floors and silver-and-black-leather stools and chairs. Glass walls face the esplanade and the giant Puppy sculpture outside the museum. The café serves Basque and international cuisine, along with coffee and snacks
Beltz the Black - The style of this restaurant is minimalist, with a touch of Japanese influence. Light-wood floors complement black-wood tables and chairs and black-and-white plates by Villeroy & Boch. One wall is glass, another is slate. Open for dinner, the restaurant spotlights Basque and international cuisine. A tasting menu is also available.
Splash & Crash - This cocktail lounge has an unmistakable 1960s theme, with white-plastic chairs and stools with red cushions, slanting white columns with white benches, and armchairs in black-and-white leather. The silver floor and bar are inspired by the Guggenheim's titanium surface. Large Pop Art paintings by Mariscal add an additional splash of pizzazz.
