Vimmerby Hotels and Accommodation

Fans of Astrid Lindgren will enjoy staying at discount hotels in Vimmerby, her childhood hometown. Vimmerby is a quaint farming town and community which is featured in many of Astrid Lindgren’s tales for children. The Vimmerby Theme Park allows kids of all ages to enter a storybook world for a day. Rides and games abound as well as storybook characters including Pippi Longstocking. Nas, Vimmerby is home to Astrid Lindgren’s farm where she spent time as a child. Guided tours are available of the farm and the surrounding area.
