The lovely castle in the city of Stockholm called Drottningholms Castle has some of the nicest places to go and things to do just on the castle property. There is a great place on the grounds of the Drottningholms Castle called the Drottningholms Castle Theatre. The Drottningholms Castle Theatre is the single oldest working theatre in the entire world. The shows are not put on all of the time but there is a stunning summer program shown there every summer.

The Drottningholms Castle Theatre was built back in the years of the 18th century. During the summer the theatre puts on all sorts of concerts, plays and operas for local people as well as all of the visitors to the city to enjoy. The summer schedule has been in effect since the year of 1922 and it is still going strong. The oldest working theatre in the world is defintitely worth the stop to check it out.
