The single largest railway station in the entire country of Sweden is the Stockholm Central Station. The beautiful station was opened back in the year 1871 on July 18th and has been running regularly even since then. There are a total of 19 platforms being used by the station today and it is not only the largest but one of the most popular stations in the country as well. Through out the many years since it was opened there have been many renovations to the building.

The Central Station has a beautiful statue out in the front which is also a great thing to see while in that area of the city.
