There is beautiful place in the city of Gothenburg that you should be certain to visit when next in the city called the Feskekörka. The Feskekörka in English means Fish Church and the place got that name because the building that houses it looks like a church building, although it is a Fish Market. The building was built in the year 1874 and is one of the best places in the city to get fresh fish. If you love fish then the Feskekörka is a place you simply must go and check out while in Gothenburg.

In addition to having the best fish in town the Feskekörka also has a very wonderful restaurant located within the fish market, where you can get a really great meal on your way to go shopping at the market. Although the prices may seem higher than average for the fresh fish here you will taste the difference in the quality.
