Speicher Hotels and Accommodation

Speicher is a small community in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is best known as a health spa. This is a good place to stop and visit during a vacation, or perhaps even spend a weekend. Speicher is a good base from which to explore this part of Switzerland. Guests staying in Speicher hotels can wander through the village and see interesting old houses. There are many lovely walks through the countryside. The 19th century Reformed Church was designed by Johann Heinrich Tobler and built in the Neo-Classical style. Other historic buildings in Speicher are the 17th century Hotel Krone, and the 18th century Former Landammann-Zuberbuler-Haus. Speicher is not far from beautiful Lake Constance.
