The Karikatur & Cartoon Museum is one of the most interesting museums in the entire city of Basel. The museum has a very large collection of over 3,000 drawings for visitors to this great museum to go and see. The Karikatur & Cartoon Museum began in the year 1979 by a man named Jurg Spahr who happens to be a caricaturist that lived in Basel. The museum is definitely a great place to visit if you like caricatures or cartoons or simply like learning about the history of different subjects.

The Karikatur & Cartoon Museum is just one of the many great museums you will find while exploring the sights of Basel. The Karikatur & Cartoon Museum has been located in its current building since the year 1979. The wonderful museum is open on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 2 pm until 5:30 pm, and it is also open from 10 am until 5:30 pm on Sundays.
