Pros: Helpful and experienced staff
Cons: We were in room 401 and the noise of people (staff) walking about in noisy shoes in the rooms above was almost intolerable! the clack clack clack started at around 6.30am every morning when breakfast staff began their work. perhaps staff should be asked to wear soft soled shoes. please! we will probably use this hotel again as our son lives nearby.

"Nice and clean"
Pros: Nice and clean
Cons: Very busy intersection plus spalentor clock noise
"Efficient, clean, located close to the university, close bus and tram..."
Pros: Efficient, clean, located close to the university, close bus and tram stops, free transit card, good breakfast, free wireless, socket adapters available at the front desk, helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: If you are sensitive to traffic noise, it could be a problem, as the spalentor hotel sits at an intersection facing the spalentor gate, and traffic noise is unavoidable. note that if you come in august, there is no ac.

"Room was clean and comfortable, and desk staff very friendly and helpful"
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable, and desk staff very friendly and helpful. the location was also very good, with easy access to the nearby university and various sights.
Cons: I traveled during summer and the room was quite warm. however, the staff provided a fan in the room which did help some.
the included breakfast was nice, though the kitchen seemed under-staffed.
