Biel/Bienne Hotels and Accommodation

Biel/Bienne is in the Swiss canton of Bern. Bienne is the French name of this small city that dates back to the 13th century. Biel/Bienne is Switzerland’s only officially bilingual town (French and German), and is best known for the manufacture of fine watches, including Rolex and Omega. This is a picturesque community, located on the shore of the Bielersee (Lac de Bienne). Visitors come here for vacations or just for a weekend. Biel/Bienne has a beautiful Old Town up on a hill.
