Lengnau is a community in the district of Buren, in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is not to be confused with another Swiss community, Langnau im Emmental. Lengnau has a population of about 4500. The town is known for having more cats than people. The majority of the population is German speaking, while the rest of the residents speak French or Italian.
