The establishment opened its doors on August 1st 1905 and was the first hotel with electric light throughout.

His daughter, Susanne Matti, and her husband Jürg Neuenschwander took over the reins in 1979.In summer you can have coffee, a drink or even a small snack in the shade of the trees on the garden terrace.The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.Breakfast and Taxes are included in room rates.
