The churches in Switzerland are some of the nicest in all of Europe. In all of the major cities of Switzerland one will find many different kinds of churches; however these churches have one thing in common they are beautiful Swiss churches. The city of Geneva has many of these lovely buildings just in its city alone. The church called the Cathedrale St. Pierre, is definitely one of the best in the city.

The Cathedrale St. Pierre is a church they began to build way back in the year 1160. During years f change to the building the church went from a Gothic exterior to have a Neo-Classical style. The Cathedrale St. Pierre is open from the hours of 10 am until 5 pm on Tuesdays through Sundays, and it is closed on Mondays. This church is a great building to go and visit even if you do not want to go inside.
