 "Eastwest Hotel Geneva."
A great, friendly, clean hotel. We were greeted on our arrival by friendly, helpful staff. They helped us to our room with all our luggage and also answered any questions with ease. The location is only about 10 mins walk from tne main train station and 2 min from the tour buses. Even though it is a red light area,( all the average priced hotels are, unless you want to pay a king's ransom for staying on the lake ) this didn't cause us any problems whatsoever. There is a little shop for necessities right opposite the hotel and there is a massive department store (Manor) within 10mins walk from the hotel, which has everything you could ever want at Geneva prices of course.We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it was very expensive (A$30) so can't vouche for breakfast. The room was (4th floor overlooking the front of the hotel was clean, very comfortable but a little gloomy just due to the lighting (and because as we are in our 60's we need it to be a little brighter)The hotel was perfect for our needs and the staff were wonderful.Although probably in other cities, Eastwest would be classified as a good 3star hotel instead of it being rated a 4star, one must remember it is Geneva and they charge accordingly. We enjoyed our 3dys there and our tour up to Mt Blanc for the day and train to Montreaux we didn't think there was a lot to see and 3 dys was plenty (plus it is expensive)

Charming small boutique hotel in excellent condition, Gault Milliau restaurant (I recommend to order à la carte for breakfast which offers a small but fine selection of everything needed.Rooms are simple but stylish and functional, bathrooms excellent and beautifully designt, even small rooms like the superor category offer walk-in-wardrobe!The beds are very comfortable with excellent goose down blankets and piilows.IMPORTANT: ask for rooms facing the coulrt - absolut quiet and from morning to late evening a very relaxing and not disturbing sound of falling water (waterfall in the courtyard). Rooms facing the street are noisy!Alltogether: you book a four star boutique hotel that - in parts - offers you more comfort than many of the "grand" and famous 5-*-hotels offer you for the triple price.Negativ: staff was not very friendly or welcoming and also showed a lack of professionality (check-in, check-out, etc.), neither at the reception nor at the bar/restaurant.

Excellent hotel with very kind staff

The 4-star Eastwest Hotel achieves an ideal balance between value and service. This is a great opportunity to stay in a convenient location close to Cornavin Railway Station. The distance between Geneva Cointrin International Airport and this accommodation is 4.3 km (2.7 miles). A number of attractions are in the near vicinity, including Musee Barbier-Muller & Mouettes Genevoises. Scala and Promenade de la Treille are attractions recommended by many. Many beach lovers come to this hotel due to its proximity to Bains des Paquis beach. You can get to Monument Brunswick without any trouble from here.

Eastwest Hotel stands out, as it not only has a restaurant on the property, but also a bar/lounge and a library. A sauna is an attractive part of the recuperative facilities here. Services offered by the accommodation include a dry cleaning/laundry service, a concierge service and a bell boy service.
