City Center Davos

Davos is a town of 10,744 inhabitants, located in an Alpine valley in the Graubünden canton of Switzerland. It stands along the banks of the Landwasser River. Davos is famous as a center for winter sports. It is also famous for being the site of the yearly World Economic Forum, a convention for the world's most important figures in politics and commerce. Davos has attracted health-seekers from throughout Europe since the 18th century, when medical science first deemed its dry Alpine air beneficial to people's health. The fictional sanitarium in Thomas Mann's Magic Mountain was located here.
