Flims Waldhaus Hotels and Accommodation

Flims Waldhaus and Flims Dorf together make up a major resort town in the Swiss canton of Graubunden. Flims Dorf is the larger of the two and is more built up. Flims Waldhaus has more hotels, but is closer to the surrounding forests. However, it is a longer walk from Flims Waldhaus hotels to the ski lifts. This resort is more popular with the Swiss than it is with foreigners, but if you are looking for a good place for a skiing vacation or just a place to hit the slopes for the weekend, Flims Waldhaus and Flims Dorf provide all you can ask for in great downhill runs and beautiful cross-country trails. If hiking is what you like, there are trails here that will take you right to the Rhine Gorge. In the nearby tiny village of Falera, visitors can see an unusual site known as the 26 menhirs. This is a strange geometric arrangement of giant stones dating back to 1500 BC. There is also another terrific hiking path called Naturlehpfad.
