Ftan Hotels and Accommodation
The town of Ftan, Switzerland is a small village of less than 600 people found in the region of Grisons and the Graubunden district. When you stay in a budget hotel in Ftan, you will be located between the town of Inn, at 1200 meters, and the town of Augstenberg, at 3,200 meters. It is likely that you will hear the Romansch language during your stay in Ftan because that is the mother tongue for over half of the residents. The Grabunden district offers a number of tourist attractions. Visit the Tarasp Castle, which sits on a hilltop overlooking a green plain. The view from the castle is fantastic, though the castle is best known for its organ and its nearly 3,000 pipes. The organ is often the featured attraction in public concerts. The Church San Guerg in nearby Lavin dates from 1480 and has some beautiful frescos along the walls. Other sites include the ruins of Steinsberg Castle, the preserved Romansch village of Ardez, and the Macun lake plateau.
