Lake Davos, in Switzerland, tends to become lost among this country’s many lakes. It is not as high profile as Lake Constance or Lake Geneva. Nevertheless, you can admire its many valleys and enjoy what the region has to offer. Around Davos, both the city and the Lake, you can find numerous trails and paths to wander. In winter, you can skate and ski. This city has the highest altitude in Europe. Once a home for recovering tuberculosis patients, it is now a sports center. You can also visit the city’s own sights. These include the Church of St. John the Baptist, in late Gothic style, the museum dedicated to the artist Ludwig Kirchner and the History museum.
