What you need to know before traveling to Surses Valley

Many tourists come to Surses Valley to ski or snowboard. They take them in search of Heidi’s goat herder and his animals. They arrive in Savognin and climb to an Alpine Meadow above to visit and talk with him. The Surses Valley can then show you all its trails. Near Savognin there are some 200 km of walking paths or trails. Many lead through the nearby Ela Parl. This significant and recognized highland moor meanders through the habitat of some 3,000 plant and animal species. To encourage hiking and walking, the park features many themed trails. They also offer guided walks. In winter, you can still walk the trails. Try snowshoeing or take to the nearby hills on skis or carrying toboggans.
