Bad Ragaz Hotels and Accommodation

Bad Ragaz is a small community in eastern Switzerland. It is on the River Tamina, and is one of Switzerland’s most famous and popular health spa resorts. People come here to use the thermal springs to treat rheumatism and respiratory ailments, and to generally improve on their health. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, the most well known of which are the Tamina-Therme. Whether you are here for a vacation or a weekend, Bad Ragaz is a place of interest even if you are not here for the spas. Guests staying in Bad Ragaz hotels have a great base from which to explore this part of Switzerland. There are also local points of interest worth seeing. The 18th century parish church has some fine baroque paintings. The old Town Hall also has an excellent display of art. Not far from Bad Ragaz is the spa town Bad Pfafers, where there is a lovely baroque church and a museum housed in an old Benedictine monastery. The gorge Taminaschlucht is also nearby.
