Airolo Hotels and Accommodation

The little town of Airolo is in central Switzerland. It is near the St. Gotthard Tunnell, though it is not on one of the main routes leading to that wonder of 19th century engineering. The town has a plaque commemorating the 177 people who were killed during the tunnel’s construction. Though Airolo is small, it is nonetheless a good place to spend a vacation or a weekend.
