Crans Montana Hotels and Accommodation

Crans-Montana is a community in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is made of two separate villages; the older Montana centred around Lake Grenon, and the more recently developed Crans a little higher up the slope. In summer, guests in Crans-Montana hotels can enjoy golf, hiking and hang-gliding, but the principle activities here are winter sports: skiing, bobsledding, curling and ice-skating. This is one of Switzerland’s more fashionable resorts, but with the many pistes there are places for beginner and intermediate skiers. Even in summer, there is cross-country skiing on the higher plateaus. Whether you are here for a vacation or a weekend, you will want to see some of the local sites. Plaine Morte Glacier is nearby, as is Mont Blanc.
