Onnens Hotels and Accommodation
Devoted mainly to agriculture even into the 21st century, the tiny village of Onnens is a picturesque place to stay for travelers to Switzerland and its western canton of Vaud. This site was populated since the Bronze Age, and hasn't had much population growth since then: at the end of 2007, the village of Vaud had only 451 recorded inhabitants. There is some beautiful scenery to be found here in the forests and farmlands at the foot of the Jura mountains. One local natural is Lake Neuchatel, whose shore is adjacent to a narrow section of the village.
