The little medieval village of Romainmotier is in the canton of Vaud, which is in the Orbe district of Switzerland. Romainmotier is on the Nozon River, hidden away in an idyllic valley. It has been joined to the neighboring village of Envy to make the single municipality of Romainmotier-Envy.
