Cons: The hotel was overbooked and could not give us a room. we arrived late (wife and baby) and had to wait almost an hour before they sorted out an alternative.

"I have to say that the hotel location is good"

Pros: I have to say that the hotel location is good. there is a train station right across the street with trains going anywhere you would like in switzerland. there is also a tram that will take you into the city to do some site seeing.
Cons: I really do not have anything to say negative about the hotel. but if i did it would be that when asking about the tram and how to get to the main train station in zurich the hotel employee did not tell us which tram to take. there are three that stop next to the hotel that go to different parts of zurich, they all are close to where we had to go, but it was still a little frustrating going to the end of the line to find out we were on the wrong train and had to transfer to another one. but you live and you learn from your mistakes i guess.

I have to say that the hotel location is good

Those seeking superb quality accommodation would be hard pressed to find a better option than the 4-star Swissotel Zurich. You are not limited as there are a lot of rooms here. Amongst the attractions in the hotel's surroundings is Zurich Zoo. This hotel proves to be a convenient base from which to access MCH Messe Zurich. If you stay here, Hallenstadion is just 0.6 km (0.4 miles) away.

For dining at Swissotel Zurich you will be spoilt for choice as the hotel features 2 restaurants. A bar/lounge, a coffee shop/café and an exhibit space are a few of the general spaces guests can use.
