Thammasat University is the second largest university in Thailand. Formerly known as the University of Moral and Political Science, this school is known to be a prestigious one and considered as a top school in Southeast Asia. It was established in 1934 and was founded by Pridi, the university’s first rector. It offers different major fields of study including law, commerce, accountancy, political science and journalism.
Thammasat University is located at the Prachan, the former viceroy's palace grounds on the Chao Phrya River. It has 6 campuses across the country. It is considered to be one of Bangkok attractions because of its beautiful campus grounds. It is equipped with dormitory, swimming pool, soccer field, and tennis and basketball courts.
