Tataouine Hotels and Accommodation
The name Tataouine will certainly be familiar to most visitors; it is the name given to the fictitious home planet of Luke Skywalker, the hero of the Star Wars movie series. If you remember what that planet looked like, you will not be surprised at the deep south Tunisian city’s appearance. The town is the largest and most important market place in the region, and Mondays and Thursdays are the big market days. When you tire of the shopping, take a walk out to the kasr, where you can get the best view of the city and the surrounding area.
