If you go to Tozeur in Tunisia, then try to see the oasis for which it is named. Tozeur is quite an old town, and aside from the wonderful weather and sandy beaches, there are plenty of other things to see. The scenic railroad is worth a ride, where the antique train takes a trip into the Atlas foothills every day. Also worth a visit is the Dar Cherait Museum, which was once a rich man’s residence. The museum houses a traditional open hearth for cooking, a Turkish bath and a room full of imported stained glass. When you have had enough of the ancient sites, then why not stroll around the town and see the open shops along the road.
